The Secrets of Storytelling in the Boardroom, Part 2 – Four Reasons to Use Storytelling
April 11, 2011PowerPoint, Storytelling or Whiteboard? Which is Best?
April 16, 2011When you have a picture that fits awkwardly on your PowerPoint slide, leaving a lot of whitespace, consider turning it into picture. You can use this neat trick to make it look like a Polaroid photo. Give it a try! (Update: Miguel Monteiro at Tribe Presentations points out you can create the shadow with a black semi-transparent fill (see examples here and here). Then it works on any color background and even textured backgrounds!)

These look great Miquel! I’ve added links to them from the blog post.
How did you do the sliding effect so it all appears to be one canvas? Is this Prezi?
Hi Bruce,
A late reply again.
Pure and “simple” PowerPoint… 2002 (XP version) with overscan backgrounds
and objects, no Prezi at all.
I think Prezi is a limited in time (and not only) fashion. Nevertheless as it exists
(like I-Pads) and some peole tend to be mesmerized by it, we have to give it a
try:

Hi Miguel – I really like these two Prezis. Usually, I’m not a fan of Prezi because the presenter uses zoom and pan for novelty, not to enhance the presentation. But I’m a fan of your Prezi style.
